Our 4 step finishing process is the best in the business and promotes a waterproof & stainproof finish that is able to withstand daily abuse. While we do have tables “in stock”, most of our clients prefer to have their table custom built to their specifications. American Reclaimed creates a variety of different Live edge tablesfor any application from only the finest slabs. We age our slabs a minimum of 2 years before kiln drying them, to add stability. Our 4 step finishing process is the best in the business and promotes a waterproof & stainproof finish that is able to withstand daily abuse. While we do have tables “in stock”, most of our clients prefer to have their table custom built to their specifications. You can even meet the finishers & builders so that your live edge table is that much more unique and special to you and your space.
Rather than mass producing our lines of reclaimed wood kitchen furnishings, we work with contractors, architects, interior designers and homeowners to custom spec your piece, and our master woodworkers carve it out from our inventory of raw reclaimed wood material. Whatever you can think of, any size, shape or style, we can produce.

We’ve had two pieces built by Sal and his team at Authentic Antique Lumber. The first was an 8′ x 40″ black walnut live-edge dining table and the other a 52″ x 40″ hand laid concrete coffee table paired with live edge dark walnut legs. Both pieces are insanely beautiful and really work well in our place. Sal and his team are a dream to work with. We couldn’t be happier!
We found this gem on a drive up state today. After previously being in this business, I have to say, these guys are doing it right. The customer service is amazing, the guys could not have been nicer. We were even given a tour. The showroom is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly clean. They have furniture in there that is like nothing I have ever seen before. The selection of wood is outstandingan as well as vast. I will definitely be a regular in this place.
My husband happened to drive by this place on his way to work. We are so happy we found them! They were amazing to work with – they are so kind and creative! Our sunroom, that has an Adirondack theme, wouldn’t be what it is without them! We did barnwood accent walls, hand hewn beams on the ceiling, and got one of their gorgeous reclaimed table and bench. I can’t thank Rich, the carpenter, and Sal, the owner enough.
