A few years ago, Mike came into our store as a customer, and when he showed us the beautiful work he was doing in his own shop, we asked him to join us. Outside of work, Mike loves landscaping, gardening, and is an enthusiast of the earth and all her bounty.

TESTIMONIALS

Friendly staff, beautiful quality and craftmanship! I wish we had found this little gem sooner. I love family run businesses. The workmanship can’t be better. We were shown some great options, given a lot of information about the materials and production. Sal worked with us to get a rush order done, at a reasonable cost. FYI …We purchased a custom mantel. Wood came from a local barn in Sussex NJ, built in 1890.

My husband and I went here because of a recommendation from my nephew Ryan. We were greeted by such wonderful people. Maria helped us pick out the wood we wanted for the cocktail table. It was made for us by the extremely talented people in the woodshop. The floors, doors, beams and furniture in their showroom are beautiful. The pieces that are for sale are unique and so solid. The table they made for us is one of a kind.

Janet Boothney-Laycox

We’ve had two pieces built by Sal and his team at Authentic Antique Lumber. The first was an 8′ x 40″ black walnut live-edge dining table and the other a 52″ x 40″ hand laid concrete coffee table paired with live edge dark walnut legs. Both pieces are insanely beautiful and really work well in our place. Sal and his team are a dream to work with. We couldn’t be happier!

We found this gem on a drive up state today. After previously being in this business, I have to say, these guys are doing it right. The customer service is amazing, the guys could not have been nicer. We were even given a tour. The showroom is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly clean. They have furniture in there that is like nothing I have ever seen before. The selection of wood is outstanding as well as vast. I will definitely be a regular in this place.

My husband happened to drive by this place on his way to work. We are so happy we found them! They were amazing to work with – they are so kind and creative! Our sunroom, that has an Adirondack theme, wouldn’t be what it is without them! We did barnwood accent walls, hand hewn beams on the ceiling, and got one of their gorgeous reclaimed table and bench. I can’t thank Rich, the carpenter, and Sal, the owner enough.
